Tips before you go!
- Bring a large tote bag or a rolling cart.
- Plan on spending at least 2 hours.
- Wear comfy clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
- If you want to avoid the crowd, go in the late afternoon
- Front bins are mixed various items like books, comics, journals, and puzzles
- Middle section includes kids, educational, and non-fiction
- Back area opens up to more bins and isles with the recipe books, autobiographies/memoirs, and fictional stories including young adult and adult.
This warehouse is HUGE! I wasn’t sure what to expect upon arriving, but I was like a kid in a candy store. We were coming from out of town and really wanted to make the most of it. With kids there’s always distractions, potty breaks, maybe a small meltdown and I didn’t want to feel rushed, so we went both days. We could really take our time and make sure we had a chance to look at everything.
If you plan on bringing your kids, I suggest either a wagon or a stroller. Although it does get crowded, there is enough room to walk through the isles. If you really want to avoid the crowd, plan on going later in the afternoon.
All the books are fairly new items and there are thousands of different authors. You’ll find everything from kids books and educational learning toys, to adult fiction and everything in between. Many of their books are grouped together in bins. Most of the books are categorized, but there are a few areas that have a mix of genres.
