Great Wolf Lodge
La Grange, GA
Overall – 10/10 – Would stay again!
I’ve visited many water parks over the years, but this one sits at the top of the list! With a 100,000 sq ft indoor facility, the kids played all day and never got bored. The setup makes it easy to keep a watch on the kids even if they’re doing different activities.
Address: 150 Tom Hall Pkwy, LaGrange, GA 30240
The best way to save money when planning a trip to Great Wolf Lodge is to plan in advance. You can see the nightly rates when booking, so this helps with planning and budgeting. The best rates are during the week/off-season. Tuesday/Wednesday are generally the cheapest days to stay.
Before You Go
Check-In: 4pm, but you can visit the waterpark all day while you wait for your room.
When you arrive, head to the front desk to get your wristbands and check in before you go to the waterpark. When your room is ready, you will receive a text message with the number of your hotel room. Your key to get into the room is also the same wristband used throughout the resort.
Waterpark Tips
If you want to bring in a bag, there are lockers inside the waterpark. Prices range from $15 to $22, depending on the locker size, and the pass is valid all day.
Pay attention when ordering the locker – IT WILL NOT POP OPEN ON ITS OWN – You will need to remember the locker number as shown on the kiosk and enter your designated passcode to access the locker the first time.
Pass Upgrades
After reserving, you will receive an email with the option to add on additional excursions at a discounted group rate. I would highly suggest adding the pass upgrade as it is not available once you get on site and it’s definitely worth the money.
Parking
Parking is not free on-site unless you purchase an ultimate package. Otherwise, it is $19 per day and due upon check-in.
Hotel Cleanliness
One of the cleanest waterparks I’ve ever been to. There wasn’t a large amount of water on the lobby floor or in the elevators, which was nice. The showers in the waterpark bathrooms were clean and stocked with soap, if needed.
Dining
There are 10 dining options to choose from, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner were not a problem. We didn’t have to leave the resort at all during our stay. The mobile ordering on the app made things so easy and convenient. You’ll receive a text when your order is ready.

Waterpark
Hours: 9:30am-8pm
The indoor waterpark is open year-round, whereas the outdoor parks are seasonal. The hours are above. However, they are subject to change per season.
Inside the waterpark is a lazy river, a toddler section, a young kids jungle gym, multiple pools and a hot tub outside.
The cabanas are available for rent, but you don’t really need to spend the extra money unless you have a large group of people. Otherwise, grabbing an open table will suffice.
Staffing
There is plenty of staff on site throughout the resort, and at each excursion activity. There was never a time when I had a question that couldn’t get answered.
All of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with a polite “hello” or “how are you”.
